Who Are We? In the past 15 years, CREATE has evolved from a small volunteer driven organisation to a national, professionally staffed one. This growth has enabled CREATE to reach more children and young people in care through program delivery, whilst simultaneously ensuring that their voice is heard by governments and out-of-home care sector stakeholders.
CREATE is governed by a Board of Directors comprising representatives from some of Australia’s largest corporations and, in keeping with the spirit of youth participation, CREATE encourages the membership of young adults with a direct care experience. Operationally, CREATE is managed by a Chief Executive Officer and Leadership Committee.
CREATE currently employs approximately 30 staff across the country. To ensure national coverage and local representation, CREATE has offices in every state and territory.
